Creating an overview between the categories within retail is a good idea if you have clear signing - this case is not the optimal way

Went shopping in a small supermarket that operates with the SPAR network. They have added signing of the categories however, they do not work as they have been placed behind the top of the fridge. They should have been placed as a cover on the top of the fridge. A clear signing of the categories normally works very well if there is a red threat in the way it is done. If you do not do this your work is not worth the while if you do not do it right from the start.

  1. Really interesting.A point of purchase displays may be a computer-driven device providing textual and graphical descriptions of products and giving specific advice when queried.

  2. Hi Samual - Yes that is a good way to secure that you get your message out. It is though mainly the big retailers that are working with this format. What I advocate for is that sales formats become better en guiding the consumer and that they use the means that are at there disposal in the best way - being it print poor digital. I you have some nice examples you want to share please forward details and a photo -:) Thank you for your input
