No goes and goes

If a shelf is as messy as the one bellow it is extremely difficult to get an overview resulting in lost sales as costumers pass by. I was meet by this example in one supermarket - entered the supermarket next door and was meet with a big barrel and an offer on white wine. Stood looking there for 20 seconds and the display triggered a spontaneous sales. A costumer bought at  least 12 bottles (Look at the last photo).
What really set the display apart was that it was placed in the entrance and not within the wine section. Placing the product outside its section generates an unexpected effect and hinders that there is to much noise from the other competitors. This is the way to go if you want to sell your product as fast as hot pancakes.
