How culture plays an important role in packaging design

A Japanese store in London really demonstrates that there is a huge differences on how food packaging is presented. The products on display have extremely bright colors and could light up a stadium - interesting to see that a lot of the visuals can be linked to the manga tradition and food pictures are nearly used on all the packaging. It shows the importance on the sensibility you have to acquire when you sell food products outside your home market. Food products and traditions are still very locally embedded.
